Signature and stamp of the ASNT inspector
Yes. Interpretation and the issuing of the signed report can be delivered remotely, over records taken by another team.
It depends on the applicable code, the material and the joint type. It is defined once the project's technical specification is reviewed.
An ASNT-certified inspector. That signature substantiates the test as a document that can be presented to the client or to the body auditing the project.
Number and type of joints, material and thickness, the applicable code and the project location.
Turnaround is agreed together with the scope: per-joint reports are delivered as testing progresses, and the consolidated report at close-out.
